a few weeks ago, WhatsApp Started rolling out a message reaction feature on the Android platform for some beta users. This feature has been used for a long time. References to the feature were first spotted last August.Friends who don’t know, this function is very similar to the message response function on Facebook messenger and Instagram. Users on these platforms can react to messages using emojis.

While rolling out Message React for beta users, rumor has it that the company will soon roll out the feature to all users in an upcoming update. However, a report by WABetaInfo suggests that WhatsApp is adding more features to the feature. WhatsApp is reportedly planning to add a “+” button to the message reaction emoji bar, allowing users to select the emoji of their choice. So far, only 6 emojis are available for the message reaction feature – like, love, laugh, surprise, sadness and thanks.

WhatsApp appears to be adopting Instagram’s message reaction feature. The feature works in a similar fashion on photo-sharing platforms, and it also lets you choose different emojis to react to.

WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a new feature that will make it easier for you to message unsaved contacts. Currently, when you tap a phone number in the chat bubble, WhatsApp takes you directly to your default dialer app. With an upcoming update, the platform may show you more options after tapping a phone number.

According to a report, WhatsApp has started rolling out a new beta update for Android users. According to screenshots shared in the report, WhatsApp showed Android users new options after the beta update, such as adding to contacts and dialing.
